Vauxhall Zafira Wit Efficient Diesel Engine

The top of the range Vauxhall Zafira Tourer has been equipped with Bi turbo engine technology. The new high power

Zafira Tourer fleets now will use the same 192 bhp Bi turbo diesel engine as the Insignia and Astra are using. The booking orders ware opened in January and the start price was announced as 27,685 pound sterling the deliveries are starting this spring. The new range of Zafira fleet has now four diesel and three petrol engines. The Vauxhall has claimed that the new Zafira engines are most powerful. With the 2.0 litre engine featuring a healthy 400Nm of torque the Zafira will be most powerful MPV with the Bi-turbo diesel engine in the UK market. The engine powers the Zafira from 0-62 miles per hour in just 8.5 seconds.  The Vauxhall also claimed that the Bi turbo system will boost the engine power and Vauxhall Zafira Tourer engine will return the claimed average of 50.4 miles per gallon and CO2 emissions of 149g/km that configuration will help the Zafira to be faster, efficient and cleaner than the top spec ford grand C-Max models. The Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 CdTi Bi-turbo diesel engines work with the common rail fuel injection system and come in the six speed manual gearbox transmission system. The Zafira Tourer Bi-Turbo is available in SE, Sri or Elite trims with a number of options that include a FlexRide adaptive chassis control system, AFL adaptive forward lighting system and a panoramic widescreen. The running costs of the Zafira Tourer are remarkably good in some models, the Zafira Tourer 2.0CDTi EcoFLEX engine is the cheapest in the range to run, it has very low CO2 emissions of just 119g/km and it gives the economy of 62.3mpg on average. Although we have just tested the most powerful and range-topping engine that has the power rate of 163bhp with the 2.0-litre, we can imagine the lower power EcoFLEX feeling a little under powered so it may be worth opting for the 163bhp engine with the economy of 52.3mpg. The 1.8-litre petrol engine is cheap to buy but it will be more expensive to the tax and fuel consumption is also more than these models.
