The All New VW Golf GTI Revealed At The Geneva Motor Show

Volkswagen has revealed the all new Golf GTI. It is based on the latest Mk7 Golf.The VW Golf GTI engine comes with a 2.0 litre TSI engine that delivers 217bhp. You can also get an upgrade to a new Performance Package which further increases the power to 227bhp. The Mk7 is quicker than the Mk6 GTI as the 0-62mph takes 6.5 seconds. The new VW Golf GTI is 18 percent frugal than its predecessor. It delivers 47mpg and it is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The CO2 emissions are impressive too and stand at 139g/km.

VW Golf GTI engine is also offered in a six-speed DSG gearbox. VW Golf GTI also has styling changes as well as aggressive bodykit, twin chrome exhaust pipes and 17-inch Brooklyn alloy wheels. The interior is also very exquisite with standard sports seats, red-stitched GTI leather steering wheel and red ambient interior lighting. The VW Golf in the standard trim includes a seven screen inch touch screen infotainment system, front and rear parking sensors and automatic climate control. The VW Golf GTI will cost £26,560 and UK deliveries will start from June.
