The face lifted Forester has been revealed by Subaru and is an inoffensive evolution of its predecessor. It has been released in line with Toyota’s RAV4. The 2013 Subaru Forester boasts a roomier interior, enhanced fuel economy and better performance. It is based on a new platform which is 1.4 inches longer and 0.6 inches wider than the outgoing model which has resulted in a roomier cabin and more leg room for the rear passengers.
The Subaru engine range now include a 250-horsepower 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged boxer unit and a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. All-wheel drive comes as standard. The 2.0L version comes only with the CVT gearbox however there is a choice of a six speed manual or CVT gearbox with the 2.5L model.
The new features include a rear view camera, electric back gate, Keyless Entry, push start, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure and pre collision braking warning.

The face-lifted Subaru Forrester with more efficient engines and revised chassis will be available to buy in the UK in summer next year.
