The 2013 Honda Accord

The 2013 Honda Accord is the first and only Honda for now, which will have Honda’s new Earth Dream engines.   The 2013 Honda Accord will initially be offered with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual. A 3.5-liter V-6 will follow, with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. A plug-in hybrid will complete the model range.

The success of the new Accord, which will include a new generation of engines and transmissions to boost fuel efficiency, is also critical for Honda’s global sales ambitions and this new Accord will be charged with the task to compete in this segment of the market. The 2013 Accord lineup also would include a plug-in hybrid electric system, as well as safety features such as lane departure and forward collision warning technologies.
