Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept unveiled at Los Angeles Auto Show

The seventh generation of the Nissan Sentra was unveiled last year with many frustrations and regrets including an

absence of announcement of an SE-R model. Previous standard model of Nissan Sentra 2013 was an unimpressive vehicle regarding its driving dynamics but this time, Nissan’s C-Segment saloon may do somethin different with its all new Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept which is ready to rise on the horizons of Los Angeles Auto Show 2013. The all new Sentra NISMO has much similar exterior designing and colour scheme that of the Nissan Juke NISMO, innovative and vital racing outlook and physique style with red stripe accents to make the new NISMO more flourishing and promising with the larger and wider wheels. The all new Sentra NISMO has totally different power and driving dynamics than the standard Sentra. It has significant power boost to back up the racing-inspired look and is fitted with a turbocharged 1.8 litre Nissan engine which has a direct injection mechanism and four inline pots, just similar to Nissan’s Juke NISMO RS which has 1.6 litres engine.  The Juke NISMO RS is also there to debut alongside the Sentra NISMO.

The engine of the Nissan Sentra NISMO is very refined and tuned to generate more than 240 bhp of power punch and 240 lb-ft of torque to push the package on the road. It will be very easy for NISMO to overtake any vehicle ahead on the motorway speeds whereas it is mated with a six speeds manual gearbox and has a limited slip diff to route the engine power to front wheels. It will help to propel the NISMO on the road from stationary to 62 miles per hour in just over six seconds and will be able to reach a top speed of 155miles per hour. Speed is good but any racing vehicle can’t be considered as perfect without testing its suspension system that handles the power and makes the ride more comfortable and NISMO is fitted with a similar kind of NISMO tuned suspension. To stop the beast, Nissan has wisely selected the disc brakes from the 370Z and changed the stock brakes to the Brembo callipers. These brakes are mated with 225 mm larger tyres wrapped around the 19-inch Rays rims with wider fender flares. It has great dual tip tail exhaust, rear spoiler and smoked taillights with the rear fog lights and at front it gets NISMO smoked headlights and day time running LED lights.
