Nissan hasn’t put a figure on how many vehicles will be called but we do know that the Nissan engine subjected to recall is being used in Nissan Pathfinder, Altima, Sentra, Leaf and Infinity JX35. It is also calling some cars from its North American markets because fuel  tanks were not properly sealed, causing a small leak of petrol when they are filled.

Nissan the Japanese automaker is recalling five of its recently launched models because the front passenger airbag may not deploy in an accident. This recall is expected to begin next month and it seems that the sensors which detect if a passenger is sitting in the seat don’t work and it may not detect the weight of a person. As a result of this, when there will be frontal collision, the passenger airbag may not deploy.
