The Geneva Motor Show starts tomorrow, 5th of March 2013 and we’ll be bring you the latest happenings from the floor. There are many car engines  and new models to be launched . So what are we most excited about one of the most important events in the auto world? McLaren is to show off the full production example of its P1. On the other hand Ferrari is pulling the curtain on its anxiously awaited replacement of the Enzo F150.

In the not-so-sports car market, almost every car maker is going to try to get their share of the lime light. The fastest ever Volkswagen Golf GTI will be revealed, while the Skoda Octavia Estate will try to steal the German manufacturer’s thunder. Volvo is unveiling six face-lifted cars. The concept cars to be revealed include a convertible version of the Toyota GT86, the FT 86. Honda NSX is to enter the European market. Mitsubishi is releasing a hybrid pick-up truck and a town car powered by electricity.

  • Alpha Romeo: The mid-engined sports car by Alpha Romeo the 4C is finally making its debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The other cars include two new models of the Giulietta.
  • Aston Martin : Aston Martin is 100 years old this year, so you can expect some surprises, however, what is known to us, that an improved model of the Rapide S is to be launched. It would have 5.9L V12 under the bonnet with 550bhp, an upgrade of 80bhp.
  • Audi : The German Brand is adding RS to its Q3. An Audi S3 Sportback with a new engine will be revealed. It can do a 0-62mph sprint in just 5.0 seconds. Other models by Audi include electric powered e-tron A3 and gas A3 g-tron.
  • BMW : The BMW stand will be much busier. The all new 3 Series is expected to steal the limelight. Other products by the company include a face-lifted Z4, the Concept Active Tourer, the electric i3 and the BMW M6 Gran Coupe.
  • Chevrolet : An updated Captiva SUV will be displayed by Chevrolet. A convertible example of the Corvette and an electric powered Spark will also be there.
  • Citroen : The French auto maker will be presenting the all new Citroen C3. There will be a Hybrid model as well with Hybrid Air Technolohy. The claimed fuel economy is 97mpg with carbon emissions of 69g/km. A concept Technospace will also be unveiled.
  • Fiat : Fiat 500L Trekking will be launched which will boast some plastic cladding to show off the off roader look.
  • Ford : The main model by Ford this year will be the all new EcoSport, that is making its debut in the European Car Market. Other cars on the Ford stand will include the all new Ford Fiesta ST and Tourneo Courier MPV.
  • Honda : The Honda NSX concept will be the main event of the Honda stand. Honda Civic Wagon Concept based on the Civic estate will also get some attention.
  • Land Rover : Land Rover has introduced the first nine speed automatic gearbox in Evoque and there will also be electric versions of SUVs by the company.
  • Nissan :  The new Note and electric Leaf will be on the show at the Nissan stand. Both are going to be built in Sunderland. Other cars by Nissan include the 370Z Nismo and Juke Nismo.
  • Subaru :  An improved Subaru Forester and a new crossover concept the VIZIV will be the main event on the Subaru stand.
  • Toyota : The much anticipated convertible version of the Toyota GT 86, the FT-86 will be the centre of the attention at the Japanese manufacturer’s stand. Other cars will include the all new RAV4, the Auris Touring Sports estate and the i-Road.
  • Vauxhall : Vauxhall is going to launch a crossover with retractable fabric roof , the Adam Rocks and a Cascada to compete with Audi A5 Cabriolet. Zafira Tourer powered by an al new diesel engine will also be included in the range.
  • Volkswagen : Volkswagen stand will be one of the busiest. The fastest Golf GTI, GTD and Bluemotion versions are going to be on the show. Other cars include the XL1, Cross Up! And the E-Golf. Volkswagen might also unveil a Golf Estate.
  • Volvo : The six refreshed  models by Volvo are the XC60, S60, V60, XC70 and V60.
