Honda has started taking the orders for its supercar, the Honda NSX, although there is still two years’ of time till it make its debut in 2015. The Japanese manufacturer is optimistic about the demand of its supercar, “for a deposit of £5,000 potential owners can be among the first in the UK to get behind the wheel of the brand new NSX.”  It has been confirmed that the NSX will have a direct injected V6 Honda petrol engine under the bonnet supported by two electric motors. The electric motors will also help in torque torque vectoring on the front axle, to sharpen handling, and form part of Honda’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system that’s fitted as standard to the new car. “We are really pleased with the interest we’ve already seen for the new NSX. We are still two years away from the launch of the car and yet we’ve received over 20 deposits and that’s before we’ve even announced prices or seen the final production car. With this process in place we are confident demand will remain strong and early hand raisers can now visit any Honda dealership in the UK and place a deposit,” said Phil Crossman, Honda UK Managing Director.

Honda started to book the orders for the original NSX a year ahead also when it was launched in 1990 and twenty five orders were booked back then.
