The Volkswagen group has the ability to produce some world class engines for the passenger vehicles and this 3.0 Litre V6 TDI engine is another example of their efforts towards new technology adaptation and producing eco-friendly vehicles. By developing this great V6 Audi engine, Audi has shown that the Volkswagen Group and its brands can build up some of the world’s most excellent and efficient diesel engines for their customers. It has almost 13% increased fuel economy that gives a new twist to the story and gets as much as 13 percent better fuel economy.

It has very good fuel economy figures with 24 miles per gallon in city areas and 38 miles per gallon if on motorway and on average it has 29 mpg. Audi has packed up the engine with cutting edge technologies and it has low friction piston rings and pins to achieve these improvements.
