The Special Edition Nissan Micra Elle

What happens when a automaker and a fashion magazine join forces? Nissan has teamed up with fashion magazine Elle to create a new limited-edition version of the Micra supermini which offers more kit, new colours and a panoramic roof. It will be limited to just 500 cars in the UK. The Micra Elle adds extra equipment, new body colours and special badging.

It’s based on the mid-range Acenta, which features air conditioning, keyless entry and cruise control as standard. The Micra Elle model adds a panoramic glass roof, 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome trim on the grille and a roof spoiler, while the interior gets chrome door handles, new seat upholstery and the Nissan Connect sat-nav and infotainment system is available as an option. There’s also special Elle badging on the tailgate and front wings, front floor mats and front door guards.

There are two engines to choose from, the 79bhp 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, or the supercharged 1.2-litre DIG-S model, which develops 97bhp and emits 99g/km of CO2. Buyer will be given a choice of three colours: Shiraz Red, Alabaster White and Atlas Blue. The Nissan Micra Elle goes on sale on 1st of September, with prices starting from £12,000.
