The new Citroen C3 was launched at the Geneva Motor Show. Its rather a facelift not a new model. It will be competing against established Golf hatchbacks for a share in the European compact market. Changes have been made to the grille, LED running lamps, taillights and front/rear. The massive windshield is still in place for the 2013 Citroen C3.
The Citroen C3 engine options are two three-cylinder gasoline engines, in 68- and 82-horsepower flavors, as well as a 120-hp, 1.6-liter four-cylinder. A very efficient selection of four diesel motors is also offered, with outputs ranging from 70 to 115 horsepower. New equipment includes a reversing camera, new sat nav system and a ‘connecting box’ with Bluetooth, Aux and USB connectivity. The facelifted C3 is due to go on sale in the UK this Summer, and should be around the same price as the outgoing model.
