Mitsubishi is to bring out the new version of its compact, Mirage. There will be three trim levels with all of the models featuring a new 1.0litre, three cylinder MIVEC standing for Mitsubishi Innovate Valve timing Electronic Control engine and a new version of the INVECS-III CVT transmission.
Its overall fuel economy is 64mpg. The M and G trims come with eco driving mode and more fuel efficient driving is achieved thanks to an auto stop and go system. The new Mirage engine offers a maximum output of 68hp at 6,000rpm. The E trim level is also more fuel efficient, despite missing the auto stop and go technology. The new Mitsubishi Mirage will debut in Thailand before being rolled out in Japan, Europe and Australia.
