Lexus LS Saloon – Face Lifted

Lexus has taken the sheets of its updated flagship LS saloon at the Moscow Motor Show, featuring more technology and a new F Sport variant. The facelifted LS gets sleeker and classier styling but rides on a tweaked version of the current car’s platform. The new flagship F Sport variant is more aggressive, with a bold front bumper and a lower ride height.  All models in the new LS range now include an updated Adaptive Variable Suspension system to help improve the ride comfort and tighten up the handling. The UK engine line-up will only consist of the LS600h hybrid model, which comes with selectable driving modes ranging from Eco to Sport S+.  Lexus is claiming to become the first manufacturer to fit heated seats and a heated steering wheel that can be automatically controlled. A new sat-nav system also features alongside a 19-speaker sound system and the option to fit screens and a hi-definition Blu-Ray player to the backs of the front seats. Lexus hasn’t yet announced pricing and availability for the new LS, but expect to see it UK showrooms in early 2013.
