Honda’s rivals are leaving their six-cylinder options but Honda Accord engine will be a more powerful version of the 3.5 lite V6 with cylinder deactivation technology. Honda Accord engine is also offered in 2.4 litre giving 181hp. A six speed manual and an automatic CVT gearbox will be offered. A hybrid version will also join the lineup which will couple a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 161-hp electric motor. A 6-kWh lithium-ion battery will offer 10 to 15 miles of city driving range and will recharge in less than four hours using a standard 120-volt outlet. Honda Accord gets 18-inch alloys, rear decklid spoiler, Bluetooth, Pandora radio, backup camera, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 10-way power driver seat.
