Audi A6 Engine Is A Great All-Rounder

The Audi A6 engine is the only one its class with four-wheel drive. The Audi A6 is also available as an estate with a 565 litres of boot and 1,680 litres with folded seats. A high powered S6 model was launched in 2012, powered by the twin-turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 which gives 414bhp and 550Nm of torque. It goes from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds.

The last generation Audi A6 was never the best in its class. The drive was not exciting as a BMW 5 Series, nor as rewarding as a Mercedes E-Class. However, this newest A6 is different. It went straight to the top of its class when it was launched in 2011 and was names Best Executive Saloon in New Car Awards. It has since been knocked off from the top spot by the ultra efficient BMW 520d ED, but it is still one of the best executive cars on the market.
