The all new three door SEAT Leon SC has been launched at the Geneva Motor Show. The SEAT Leon engine range remains the same as the five door Leon. The petrol engines include 1.2 litre TSI and 1.4 TSI with 104bhp and 138bhp respectively. The 1.6 litre TDI is the only SEAT Leon diesel engine available and returns the fuel economy of 74.3mpg and emits 99g/km of carbon. SEAT has shortened the wheel base of the SC by 35mm that “make the SC look more muscular and powerful.” The rear screen has a steep design to give the Leon a sporty look. The SC has the similar boot space as the standard hatchback versions i.e. 380 litres, unlike the rivaling 3 door Audi 3. Same is the case with headroom, however knee room is a bit congested and the access to the rear seats is a bit tricky. The three door SEAT Leon SC comes in two trim levels like the five door version, the S and SE plus a range topping FR model that adds seventeen inch alloy wheels, tinted glass, LED lights and parking sensors.
The new SEAT Leon SC can be ordered soon after the Motor Show. Although the price has not been confirmed yet but it is expected to start around £15,000
