Renault has recently revealed a crossover version of its popular MPV, the Scenic. It is named as the Renault Scenic XMOD. The launch of the the XMOD comes in parallel with the launch of its face-lifted Grand Scenic. The crossover Renault Scenic engine range include three new units. Each engine for Renault Scenic is mated with the Energy TCe 130 Stop & Start which is used for the very first time in any Renault car. It improves the engine efficiency by up to fifteen percent. Though the XMOD is based on the MPV shaped Scenic however, it has a new face with fine front grille and Renault logo derived from the Clio. On the top, it boasts chrome finished bars and also has new LED daytime running lights. The XMOD is equipped with a Grip Xtend traction control system with
adjustable ride settings according to the road conditions. Inside, it is fitted with a seven inch R Link touch screen. Renault now also gives the option of Bose sound system. The Renault Scenic XMOD is set to make its debut at Geneva Motor Show and will be available for the UK buyers by May. The price is likely to be around £19,000.
