A new Golf Estate has been released by Volkswagen at the Geneva Motor Show. The engine for Volkswagen Golf has been equipped with BlueMotion technology and claims a fuel economy of 85.6mpg with 87g/km of carbon emissions. Other units in the Volkswagen Golf engine range include a 2.0 TDI diesel and a 1.2 and 1.4 TSI petrol engines.
The new Golf Estate leaves all its predecessors behind in terms of space and efficiency and is 105kg lighter than the previous model as it is based on the new MQB platform. It boasts 605 litres of boot space, 100 litres more than the car it has replace, that can increased to 1,620 litres by folding the rear sears – an increase of 125 litres.
